Close encounters of the weird kind.

I was at jurong east library today, and i went for lunch with joel(chan) at one of the many kopitiams surrounding the area, specifically at the place which sells kolo mee. We were busy eating and minding our own business when out of the blue, 3 indians appeared out of nowhere, just beside our table (yes THAT close) and one of them smashed a beer bottle on another's head, sending shards flying everywhere. Shear luck and fortune saved us from any cuts or scratches, but we were definitely startled (with W-T-F faces). The fight continues, as 2 indians chased the solo guy whose head got smashed, but weirdly unhurt, the resilient bugger. They ran away from the kopitiam for a moment to square off at a nearby grass patch, only to return again, causing us to abandon our meepok and kolokwayteow for a minute. Then they vanished. The hilarious part of the fight was the handheld weapons they were holding to fight one another, besides the vicious beer bottles. One was holding a thin hollow metal pipe, another was armed with some sort of black coloured stick thingy, and the last one, was flourishing.. a kitchen spatula. Remarkable.
