What is the significance of 21st birthdays anyway? Some says its the day where you are officially free. The doors to adulthood. Time to leave the child in you behind. Time to step into your own world you create yourself with you own decisions and no one has the right to say no anymore, not even your parents can stop you. You Are FREE.
But is growing up a good thing? How i wish i can stay young forever. Sadly humans age. Thats why i think the best way to celebrate a 21st birthday is not to party wild all night nor to watch your first R21 show nor to go some high class atas function thingy to express your maturity or shiat. The best way to celebrate your 21st birthday, is to relive your best childhood experiences. Go celebrate at the zoo and take pictures with ahmeng! Bring your family to eastcoast park or something and start building huge huge sandcastles with your parents again like you used to! Or go to sentosa underwater world! One will continue to grow forever, never young again you know.
My whole family went to sentosa! Family is important too, never forget your family! And my main aim was to relive my fantastic underwater world experience! Imagine as a small child, you are put into a glass tunnel, where uberhuge exotic magnificent sea life ranging from gigantic sharks, sawfishes, dugongs, huge mantarays and thousands of colourful fishes are swimming all over you. Imagine the feeling. Reliving it was almost heartbreaking.
Underwater World.
First fun thing to try at underwater world is the touchpool where people pay to molest small little water creatures. I tried to touch the stingray in the touchpool. It was.. creepily soft. Then i attempted to touch a pufferfish, and it went PHOOFF

These monsters are extinct but they are here in underwater world swimming. Yikes.
Saw something very interesting, they are called sea angels. Because they look like angels.. in the sea. Tiny and cute and unbelievable.

Stingrays and mantarays are my all time favourite sea creatures. They are bafflingly interesting. And remarkably delicious to eat! wahahhahahah. After the steve erwin incident i hated stingrays for a while, but then realised that i cant stay mad at stingrays. Its really not there fault. Imagine a stupid fat man jump onto you of cos you wanna poke them with your tail rite

Walking through the tunnel. Spectacular experience. Now that ive grown up i dun find its wonderful anymore as a small boy. But still its really interesting to have this second experience once more.

But the candyfloss was rather yucky and quite hard and i probably wont eat candyfloss in a long time.
Everyone ought to go sit the luge, its damn fun! Its like a tobogan just that its not fixed on a track, its on a free track! Just like go carts but this is more fun. Hilarious thing happened. When i was on the luge, my handphone rang. My ringtone was SUPER MARIO BROTHERS. I blardy felt like i was in a computer game. wahhahaa

The Past Week. Entry 2
Friday.
Afternoon we had zu char lunch school.

Great to see chris laughing along during lunch and not always thinking of murdering his irritating laboratory partner or anyone else worth murdering.

Total cost per person is only 4bucks plus. We could have zu char everyday man, just grab 8 ppl or more and make up a random occasion and celebrate! Who says celebrations have to warrant an occasion anyway.
After lectures we had to head down to wheelock fish&co to celebrate 2 bdaes! Before that i stopped by Academy of Medicine to pass some stuffs to my ex colleague. And wow, i received presents from them too! Was stunned.
Lovely presents wrapped with leftover ribbon and wrapper from the congress. muahaha damn farnie.
To them buying presents is damn easy cos everyone knows im a chocolate monster and candy empire is just one mrt stop away. Damn i love chocolate, it makes me wanna fly.
After that we met at fish&co to celebrate my first bdae with ntu frens! I have a certain affinity with fish&co, and i blardy love fish&co. I celebrated 2 bdaes at fish&co already with funties, 03 & 04. And another one coming soon at the same place. Lets do it again next year! muahahaha

The Past Week. Entry 1
The exams are zooming in! How life sux rite now. And im not anywhere near ready at all, but still we cant think like this; we must all be positive and optimistic about life and stuff and cannot always think of failure all the time, and even though we think we will fail we must still think positive, like what everyone will say. Tsk. I say NONSENSE! If you think you will fail then you will most definitely fail! Whats the point of thinking positive if deep down you know you are just lying to yourself. So what is the solution? Pressssssss on and start studying and stop grumbling to yourself mj! As the saying goes, the best way to start studying is to start studying.
But even when studying one must still find time to rest. We are not robots. Last wed after school me nigel and joel went to JP to eat then to walk. I bought something on impulse again, but this time its not 170bucks. Its a cap from levis! The shade is leathery brown, so very mj-ish. I love buying things on impulse, it makes me happy. Then we eventually walked into.. toysRus. For fun. No need a reason to want to feel young again.

Last thursday was my final lab day. I hate lab, it is blardy 3hrs! Doing labby things which i probably wont remember nor care much about and its only 1AU.
Wore caps to school! Caps are good. They make you look 10 years younger. And hides bad hair days. I look like a boy boy, says joycey. Joel says she look like a mushroom. But its ok cos joel looks like baboon! muahaha

On friday i went coaching with ivan at Malan road! I didnt coach, only acted as his fellow coach. Acting zai in front of small kids is fun.
When it was all over, we skated out of the uluniated place, roads all ulu and stuff.
We were going downhill pretty fast. Side vision blurs. Winds in my face. Shiok.
Suddenly a blardy taxi appeared outta nowhere behind me! Obviously i was stunned!
My skate brushed the kurb. I flew downhill and tumbled 10 metres down the road.

After that, i got up, and walked with ivan to ikea, staining his white sleeve with my blood on the way, and we had meatballs for dinner! I love meatballs! Yummy. =D

This week was a SUPER WEIRD WEEK. SUPER-MAN kind of super, man!
Was behaving really really weirded and emo and stuff. Wonder why i was behaving so crazily.
Then today my judo sensei slammed me HARD. Then i woke up.
Ok back to ol' MJ-mode. Away with stupid emo week. =D
Just Random.
I once said that time heals all wounds. I was wrong. "Time marginalize everything." Mentioned by ivan some time ago. And he is right, time simply covers up the battle scars, letting the pain sink into distant memory. And this is not at all good. Although what was past had already been archived away in a deep ocean of thoughts and memories, suffocated by the present day happenings, the past can still be recalled and looked upon, uncovering what was left unsettled and unresolved. So i urge all my friends. Don't take time for granted. Settle disputes fast and save friendships, dun let it sink into memory. Losing your pride is better than losing a friend. Solutions to a recalled unresolved memory that still hurts? Think of the good times and suffocate the bad memory, that is the best solution to keep the peace.
It is alright to feel sad sometimes; for we are only human with real human emotions. But sadness is contagious. And i feel that a guy should not always be feeling sad (not sised, sised is a different) and influencing the rest all the time. And though i know its a difficult feat not to feel sad 24/7, its always worth seeing the people around you smile with you when you smile with them too. So from now my goal is to try to be happy always. Try. =D
No one is perfect. Sometimes we dont know what we did. But we still love our friends and wanna make things right.
And that brings me to another point. Friends don't last forever and it's true. Because love dont last forever. I always believe there is this threshold amount of love that any individual can provide. You might love me now but maybe not that much as time goes on. People meet new friends, and it is not possible to love everyone equally. It is not pessimistic to say that, it is only the truth. People who thinks they love all their friends to bits can just 'go die bah'. What is the solution then. Only way to love your friends forever is to maintain friendship. And maintaining friendship is not an ABC thing. It takes time and effort.
I wanna go overseas in december. But i dun wanna go with funties. Unless its with many many funties or just one or two. Four is a NO GO. But dont think will be free anyway.
I wanna travel the world by fifty, that means in 30 years time, and i only probably can travel maybe twice a year, which makes it.. 60 trips. How to cover the world.
I wanna do things for the first time. Incredible things. Only way is to travel.
I wanna watch chitty chitty bang bang and david copperfield. Copperfield is cool. He can freakin fly. I wanna fly.

Formal attire day.
Today i had my first formal marketing presentation, and we had to wear formal clothing to school. I left the house quite comfortably, with long sleeved shirt and pants, comfortably cos i worked in an office before for 5 month? It was just like going to work all over again. BUT. I stepped into school and realised this isnt work. An im not a biz student, im an engine student! We stood out like sore thumbs! But good-looking sore thumbs, that is. Funny stares and comments throughout the day. Funniest comment was whether we were gonna register for marriage. And i was like, wrong, we did that last week, and tonights the dinner. Muahahaha. Nah i did not actually said that la.
We were quite bored so we decided to take pictures with our attire. Nigel was supposed to dress properly like me and joycey. He wore a short sleeve white shirt. Play cheat. Last thursday, my army friend ZiJian flew off to oxford together with some female friend.
I told joycey bout it, and she said OH REALLY one of my friends is also flying off to oxford.
