Give me wings.

For the past 3 weeks i went through 3 fieldcamps in preparation for my upcoming 'fight' in Thailand. I will be flying off in 2 weeks. According to the higher authority the area is relatively safe, some personnel had went over and commented that there is no acts of violence in any area whatsoever. And since we are situated in rural areas it is more or less safe. Then after the 'safety assurance' speech we were all forced to sign up for AVIVA insurance. What a way to assure us that we are safe.

And speaking of thailand, some of us are planning a small-group trip to thailand in dec. Small group. It's safer and less problematic. So dun sulk if we dont call you for this.

Next month i'll be away till the 28th. Rumours i heard included my army friends throwing me off the plane on my birthday during the flight back.

The end of the month cometh. Wake me up when September Ends.

Long weekend not Long enough.

When I begin this post I pause for like 5 mins. I wondered what should i post. Last time whenever I log in i could just do a quick post click, thats it, meaningful and no thinking twice. Not for now. All my inspirations all gone. All i can think of is what i've been doing for the week, and events, and whatever. Am i getting old? I'm still 19. Not a big two-O. But heck, what does 18 differ from 19, and what does 19 differ from 20? 20 and 18 are the same. So no reason i should feel old. 28 is still 18, bong.

Nowadays my company (not refering to anything army) consists of a small group. Max 5 people. The funty big group days are over, and I feel that in smaller groups we get to connect more. And less ideas, less conflict. And i dont really bother if the girls dont bother either. So lets say you dont see me often, you probably wont see me in a long time for now. Ciao, amigo.

On friday night I met the dual-mandos, terribler and little miss not-old-yet. After a cheap dinner we went for not-so-cheap drinks, at a weird smoky exotic moroccan bar with not too appealing music featuring a warped BSB-foreign-remix. Cong should have stood on the table and started dancing. Anyway, I experience a deja-vu which i should feel really nostalgic about. I ordered a drink in which the glass was totally feeled with ice, but ONLY A QUARTER FILLED. And it cost 20 freakin bucks, because they got me remy XO instead of remy VSOP. The curse of the miniature soft shelled crabs has returned. While the rest was getting filled up on kilkennys and 'Lime juice with polo sweet'(haha). Actually bongs ordered a very small lychee martini but with her very small stomach i bet she too was filled. Damn.

Left: Kilkenny draught
Right: Remy XO excel which was one quarter full

Saturday afternoon I went for a Jap buffet at hanabi, odeon towers, with the dual-mandos and Mr Everything-three-piece. Out aim was to bust our tummies till we get Tummyshag (A new word!). Mr Everthing-three-piece came late, so me and mandogang started first. After our first round ended, in steps Mr Everything-three-piece, and he grabbed the menu and ordered EVERYTHING THREE PIECE till he caught up with us although he was late. He also have a weird habit of ordering every kind of chicken in the damn menu, although chicken is not really what you should order in a jap buffet that cost a freakin thirty bucks. But he still manage to swallow every damn thing down, as if his tummy was like the galaxy with no walls.

Everything THREE piece

Chicken egg thingy.

I ate like NINE tempura prawns.

The tempura prawns came with veggies i ignored, so we made an ultraman out of it.

Evening, the dual mandos have to book in cos on sunday they have to stroll around the camp perimeters for 24 hours, looking at the beautiful flowers, birds, bees and the occational changi village transvestite trying to break into the camp. So they left me and Mr Chicken lover, in replacement comes Mr Get-high-on-toblerone. We walked around City hall area, peninsular shopping centre and I searched for brown shoes which Mr Choco-high insisted he knew what i wanted. After he showed me a pair im like, noooooo.... We continued walking and walking (our favourite pastime) till we realised we needed to eat.

For dinner we met the crazy girl who loves green (green? she's outta her mind!!). We went to PS food court to eat, but Mr Chicken lover claims he's drowned on chicken or smth so he's not hungry. So we ordered our food. After a while, Mr Chicken lover gets bored so he stood up and ordered- no prices for guessing... CHICKEN RICE. Cockadoodledoo.

It was night and the Green girl needs her ice cream. So we headed for Cathay B and Js, which was crowded. We stopped at the Adidas shop b4 that. The green girl proceeded to admire green stuff, and Mr Choco-High plays FIFA on a com. Chicken eater joins. I watched. After that we headed to Venezia( At some place out of cathay). Green girl finally ate her ice cream and was glowing green, ready to strike down any enemy in our path. Forces of evil watch out, we have a new incredible hulk!

OK that last part was uber-lame.

And on Sunday I successfully woke up for church, cos i did not pull any overnight stunts. This long weekend i have been coming home early every night, which was weird to my dad. He's like, "What are you doing back so early today, what you on DRUGS?"

Today i woke up late, stayed at home the whole day watching dvds and eating home cooked dinner, just like ORD-personnel. Booking in later.

And thats the end of the longest weekend in ages. See you when i ORD.
